10/25/11 Chicago Here We Come!!!!!

Its Chicago Week!!!!! Get your last minute studying in, dance that choreography one more time, and don't forget to pack your ghillies!!! Wether you are traveling in a train, plane, car, bus, helicopter, or most likely dancing your way there, you are in for an adventure!

See you soon.

10/11/11 Happy Thanksgiving and Questions for you!!!

I hope all our Canadians had a wonderful thanksgiving, and Americans you only have to wait a few more weeks until you get to eat your turkey and pumpkin pie!!! As scholarships approach I have some last minute things to think about!

*Have you named your choreography yet? Studied your textbook recently???? Try and get your studying to become a daily routine. 5 minutes before dinner, you can even do it while you are brushing your teeth!!

*If you are having trouble memorizing your choreography or worried you might forget one of those tricky movements I have a suggestion. When you are going to bed at night close your eyes and go through the choreography with your brainpower. This means no arms, head movements, or even moving your legs. Before you know it you will be asleep and your choreography will be memorized! :)

Good Luck!

10/2/11 BATD Scholarships Oct. 28-30th : The countdown to Chicago has begun!

I hope everyones studying is going well for scholarships at the end of the month. As of tommorow there will be about 25 days untill you are performing your choreography and putting your highland knowledge to the test! Remember you can fit studying in wherever you are. The school bus, the car ride to dance class, or even instead of watching tv! As you prepare for Chicago, I want you to know that you are going to have so much fun and meet lots of new dancing friends.

Chicago is also a great city to see! I highly recommend you see "the bean" in the Millenium Park. This is a giant silver bean statue that is so big you can walk underneath it! It is really fun to make funny faces and take pictures of your reflection! Good luck studying and keep on working hard, Chicago is almost here!!! :)
